GlobalRize Mission House nears completion!

The countdown has started. We are looking forward to the move as a child looks forward to a birthday party. A group of volunteers is hard at work, painting and wallpapering the GlobalRize Mission House.

If everything works out as hoped and the Lord willing, we will move to the new premises mid-July. The move itself will not be a big deal, as we currently have very little that is worth moving. So that helps. The official opening will be on August 31. On September 2, visitors can view the new office space.

Improvised

GlobalRize was originally housed in missionary director Marten Visser’s study. Before long, the study was bulging and people were working in all corners of the house.

Office space

The move to an office space in Oldebroek in 2017 was a huge improvement, but now, there are too many of us. We no longer fit into the three workspaces in Oldebroek and the offices are also far from ideal in terms of working conditions. However, as improvised as it all was, we will still look back on our time in Oldebroek with gratitude and good memories.

Meeting place

We thank and praise the Lord that the new office space will be our new workplace. Apart from being somewhere where we can work, we would also like the Mission House to become a meeting place where volunteers and others who care about GlobalRize, can find inspiration.
We hope that the GlobalRize Mission House will provide a new boost to our mission and what we achieve!
