GlobalRize publishes the Ranking of the Unreached 2025
GlobalRize has released the “Ranking of Unreached” for the fifth year in a row. This Ranking shows where in the world the number of Christians is lowest and where mission is most needed. The 2025 Ranking consists of 33 major peoples among whom, according to international sources, there are no churches.
As many as 420 million people belong to these peoples. Almost all of the peoples on the list live in South Asia; the majority of them are Muslim. A striking fact is that the 2025 Ranking contains almost as many Hindu as Muslim peoples.
Just imagine: these peoples together number more than the combined populations of the USA and Canada and, as far as we know, there are no churches among them… It is an enormous challenge to reach these people with the Gospel. They, too, need Jesus Christ!
For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. (Ephesians 6:12)
