Being thrown out with the garbage
Our Uzbek team receives many questions about the gospel from Muslims. For the team leader it is a challenge to speak to all those people. Now reinforcement has arrived in the form of an Uzbek Christian. The special thing is that he was given up as hopeless by the maternity nurses at birth. And now he is of inestimable value to the team.
Our team leader says: “We are happy and grateful that we were able to involve a local worker in our work. Rustam* is severely disabled. He was born two months premature and the maternity nurses had already thrown him out with the garbage. ‘He will not be human’, they told his mother. But she insisted on taking care of him and raised him with incredible patience and love.
Rustam is spastic, has difficulty speaking and cannot walk, but when he shares the gospel online, his fingers race across the screen of his phone. He now helps us to answer people in the chats. In addition, he has also set up a few channels himself, so that he can preach the gospel to his fellow countrymen full-time. What is weak in the eyes of men is strong in the eyes of God!”
*Not his real name
- Thank God that Rustam is alive and serving Him
- Pray that Rustam will be a blessing to many
