The Way Back Home: How an Online Testimony Reconnected Mohit with Jesus
Mohit from India (not his real name) was once a Christian, but had since converted to Islam. Despite this change, he couldn’t fully let go of the Christian faith. One day, while browsing online, he stumbled upon the testimony of a follower of Jesus who also serves as a GlobalRize mentor. As he watched the video, Mohit felt God speaking directly to his heart: “You have strayed from the right path.”
Struck by the video, Mohit decided to reach out to the man he had seen. He asked if they could meet in secret at a local church. “We had a wonderful time together, and I was able to share my testimony with him personally,” the mentor says enthusiastically. “I told him that God is merciful and wants to lead him back to the truth. By God’s grace, he repented and returned to the faith!”
On a beautiful Sunday morning, Mohit arrived at the church. “He told me he wanted to be baptized! I discipled and counselled him, and he accepted Jesus as his Savior. Later, he was baptized in our church.”
By returning to Jesus Christ, Mohit has found true joy in life. “He is now praying for his family, who are all still Muslim,” the mentor explains. “Please pray for this brother and his family; they truly need our support in prayer.”
