GlobalRize offers a free chronological Bible course, via WhatsApp, called BibleBasics. The course is designed for people who want to learn more about God and the Gospel. Students come from all over the world. Some are already convinced Christians, while others are still exploring the Christian faith. We are looking for mentors who would like to guide students in this journey via WhatsApp.
About the role
- Guiding students – both Christians and non-Christians – who are following one of the courses. The number of students you supervise is up to you
- Sending parts of the course via WhatsApp and responding to the answers
- Checking daily on weekdays for new student responses that require a reply
Your profile
- You are passionate about Jesus Christ
- You have a mature faith
- You seek to live in obedience to God
- You have a solid knowledge of the Bible and a pastoral attitude
- You have been baptized and are an active member of a local Bible-believing church
- You are able to discuss matters of faith in a way that non-Christians can understand
- You are able to engage people through questions, not only by “preaching”
- You preferably have access to a computer (not just a phone), internet access, and basic computer skills
- You have a good command of the language in which the course is written (English, Spanish, German, or another language)
- You are open to feedback and willing to ask for help when needed
- You are available for at least 4 hours per week for this volunteer position
