Together with the team you work on further expanding the brand awareness and visibility of GlobalRize and you raise sufficient financial support for our work. You are a professional who can contribute both strategically and hands-on to our C&F objectives. You are involved in devising and implementing plans in the field of communication & fundraising, you also make an active contribution to their implementation and ensure that results are achieved. You bring in refreshing ideas that help us keep our supporters involved and grow. With your enthusiasm and connecting qualities you know how to give direction to your team, you are not afraid to make decisions and you keep a cool head when it is busy.

What you’re going to do

• Together with the management you determine the strategy with regard to communication and fundraising. You translate this strategy into concrete annual plans incl. budget.
• You coordinate the implementation of the annual plan, monitor progress, monitor budgets and make adjustments where necessary.
• You manage the communication & fundraising team, consisting of a relationship manager, graphic designer, copywriter and secretarial assistant. You also work closely with the Online Marketing department.
• You ensure a good presentation of GlobalRize both online and offline (website, social media, folders) and you know how to bring us to the attention (newsletters, events, press).
• You drive new fundraising campaigns and also safeguard existing recurring activities.
• You devise and coordinate actions to activate or upgrade (potential) donors.
• You ensure that fund management is properly secured within the organization and that the income from this grows.

Who we’re looking for

The Christian faith is the basis from which you live and work. You have a warm heart for our mission and are happy to dedicate yourself to it. You have an HBO working and thinking level and preferably you have work experience in the field of communication, fundraising or marketing. Experience within the charity sector or a voluntary organization is an advantage.

But the most important thing is that you have a good dose of energy, drive and creativity. You also have the following at home:

• enterprising and initiative;
• you can plan and coordinate well, switch gears and keep an overview;
• result-oriented and quality-oriented;
  good written and oral skills, persuasiveness;
• you can work well together, you have an eye for involving internal and external stakeholders;
• you are at home in the online world and social media.

What we offer

A varied job with plenty of room for your own input based on an annual contract for at least 24 hours a week.
